Cyrious Productions – Irwindale Part 1
Cyrious Productions has released a portion of the Irwindale footage from Formula D! This was the first time our Canadian Hero Pat Cyr was out to Formula D for Pro Am and he went to the top to take the Championship in his S2000 powered Ae86! Part 1 & 2 focus on the journey in Irwindale. The first part as described in the Video Description “This first part focuses mainly on the Pro Am Nationals end of the event, which ended up being won by Drift Posse’s Pat Cyr in his faithful S2000 powered Toyota Corolla AE86, as well as some clips from the pro drivers in practice! Keep your eyes peeled for the next installment coming out mad soon!”
I’m extremely proud to know these guys, there going farther and farther every year. It will only be a matter of time until they reach the top. Long live Drift Posse

DriftOps October 9th Drift Day
This was a HUGE turn out! It was crazy! Not only was this day perfect but Pat Cyr also brought home the Championship at the Formula D Pro Am Competition!!!! This was by far the greatest day of the year. I was also able to get my drift cherry popped as well thanks to Peter Chrisikopoulos of the Drift Posse.

“I decided to mess around with new effects and what not, found a pretty cool tutorial on this. I’ll drop a link at the end”

“Getting lots of love from spectators as I go around with Peter. We hit about 200km/h on the straight, what up.”

“You can’t see the needle on the speedometer. That’s because it was spinning around, we were going atleast 6000km/h here.”

“It was my time for this to happen, I knew it would one day as I watched my friend Andrew endure the rocks and dirt at DMCC, My ear was actually cut open a bit.”
I focused a lot of my work on Peter’s car. He’s an amazing drifter who needs more credit. He was also nice enough to give me a ride for some in car shots, I had no idea what to take photos of so I just set my shutter speed to about 400 and just snapped anything. I really wasn’t even looking in the view finder a lot because of the helmet but I think I got some decent ones.

“Everyone was getting close to the wall on this last corner, I don’t know why. I know I’d crap my pants if I were them, that’s the corner of hell”

“We don’t know how this happened, A tire blew and we came back with the bumper dragging and missing part of the skirt.”

“My favorite shot of the event I got. I wished the car would of been a little bit more sharp but I still love it!”

“Battle scars, that’s all that’s needed to be said.”
