DMCC Mosport Photos
Hmmm, I suppose it would be appropriate to start off with a photo of Matt Waldin. Although, the Drift Posse might be a little upset, haha. Let’s begin!
“This spot I was in would only allow you to get decent photos of the straight and first corner otherwise your photos would be ruined by massive amounts of smoke on the second corner. It also gave a sweet downhill effect as well.“

“Finally some Posse photos! I got a laugh out of this one, always funny to see a bumper dragging behind a car.”

“Dave Briggs. Who can’t get enough of this guy? That’s all there is to say, Simply brilliant.”

“The god of drifting, Pat Cyr. Amazing angle from him. The grass was a bit wacko in this photo, reminds me of Shannonville’s grass. ALL BROWN…”
That’s all I’m putting up for now. Keep tabs on the DMCC Set on flickr.

Drift Mania Round 6 Results/Photo Teaser
DMCC Round 6 was my first big event I’ve shot at. I loved every second of it to! The energy felt good there as the day went on, not as big as the Quebec events but still makes you feel great. I met JAG for the first time to and he seemed really cool, haha. The set up of the track was perfect for media, there was so much freedom for photographers and filmmakers, some spots were kinda iffy to me though. The spot in the trees was only goo for the first corner and first straight at the top of the hill. Other than that your photos were smoke ruined. The last corner was sort of a low speed one, and by the time both cars reached there if they haven’t spun they were separated enough to ruin door to door pictures.
Round 6 Top 3
1. Marc Landreville
2. Bob Patinka
3. Claude Poirier
Matt Waldin could of place 3rd or still in 4th if his engine didn’t blow up.
Again, the Champion of DMCC was Matt Waldin leaving Pat Cyr to another Second Place finish. This is only pouring gas on the flame to let Sir Pat of Cyr burn higher. Next year will be his year!

Round 5 Recap – (Autodrome St-Eustache, Montreal, QC / Sept. 5th & 6th
Round 5 I heard was tough. There actually was a flip, it wasn’t as bad as you think when you hear “flip” but still no flip is good. Always bad, the driver was okay though. He was able to get back on the track to run. Pat Cyr also went off course taking his bumper off but it was all good.
