DMCC Mosport – Round 6 Update
Drift Mania Canadian Championship Round 6 – Mosport International Raceway, Bowmanville Ontario.

Round 5 Recap – (Autodrome St-Eustache, Montreal, QC / Sept. 5th & 6th
Round 5 I heard was tough. There actually was a flip, it wasn’t as bad as you think when you hear “flip” but still no flip is good. Always bad, the driver was okay though. He was able to get back on the track to run. Pat Cyr also went off course taking his bumper off but it was all good.

G20 Riot Opinions and Such
So, after hearing about the G20 riot today, I would just like to say to all the rioters, you’re a bunch of idiots. What is the point of all this? Your not getting anywhere? Your making your own city, and your own country look like trash. Your getting no where and you will not get what you want, if you event want something.
Also, to the media, get your facts straight before you start saying things. Yesterday on the radio I heard a lady saying the problem was being caused due to way to many police officers, than today I heard the same girl saying there isn’t enough police officers. Don’t try to act “professional” all the time. “I’ve got a front row seat to all the action” Moments later the same person said “Oh my god! There coming right by me!” with a tone of voice showing that they are freighted. Last thing before I state some info of what happened, A media reported quoted “There may be a gas tank in this car that could explode.” …Well duh.
Now for a little bit of info of what happened.
A media photographer was shot in the face with a rubber ball and a police officer was held at gun point. I’m not sure on how many, but I believe 4 police cars were set on fire if not more. Rocks, sticks, water bottles, golf balls, any type of small hard object was thrown at the officers and at windows. Basically a lot of idiocy took place today. There may be more tomorrow or less, it all depends on how the police and riot team manage to prepare. That’s just my 2 cents on it all, just really a rant.
Drift Day!
Anyone up in the Belleville/Kingston area you should know that there is a Drift Day happening tommorrow at 9am to 5pm! Anyone that enjoys any form of motorsport should come and check it out! Also, anyone that would like to get some drifting in or even lapping you can still buy a spot there! Just look for Michael Fernandez and give you money to him.
The cost to do some lapping is aboug $140-$170 but your getting a full day of racing in! FWD/Grippin is allowed but just be cautious of the drifters as it’s a drifting event.
There is no cost for spectators! So you should deffinetly come out to see some tires burn! It’s at the Shannonville Motorsport track on Highway 2!
Note: If you are going to be doing some lapping, you NEED a helmet, no excuses.
